Leave it to the creative genius Kathleen of Twig & Thistle fame to come up with a cute spin on a clever DIY project -- a felt gift bow! Originally, the DIY pattern came from How About Orange on how to fashion an old-fashioned gift bow from magazine pages. I love that idea because it combines two of my fave-o loves...do-it-yourselfiness AND recycling. Boom!
But oh how I love this felt gift bow turned brooch. It has the perfect amount of old-fashioned Christmas, kitsch, craft and cool. Actually, it might have more cool than anything else. And originality! Love, love love it.
